Montclair Police Seeking Park Slasher
The man allegedly assaulted a woman with an unknown weapon and was last seen traveling on High Street.

Responding to the intersection of Cedar Avenue and High Street on a report of a screaming female around 10:45 p.m., police found a 41-year-old Newark woman with lacerations on her body.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the woman was “assaulted with an unknown weapon,” police stated.

Emergency responders transported the woman to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police are seeking a tall, black male around 40-years-old, who was last seen traveling south on High Street in a “newer model,” red, two-door vehicle.
