Montclair’s ‘Amanti Vino’ Owner Plans To Open Morristown Location
The Montclair wine, beer and specialty spirits retailer will open a sister shop in Morristown in "early 2018," its owner says.

Building on 12 years of success in Montclair, Amanti Vino proprietor Sharon Sevrens has announced plans to open a second storefront location in Morristown. The wine, beer and specialty spirits retailer will open a sister shop in “early 2018,” Sevrens announced last week.
The Morristown shop is currently undergoing buildout in a 3,000-square-foot space at 60A South Street. The design will be modeled after the Montclair location, with a “playful décor” and bottles displayed on custom-built shelving, according to a company news release.
Sevrens, a former investment banker who left Wall Street to become a sommelier and parlay her passion for wine into a business, said that “consumer education” is an important part of Amanti Vino’s success.

According to Sevrens, Amanti Vino is the only approved provider of the UK-based Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) courses in New Jersey. As in Montclair, the Morristown store will include a classroom for everything from WSET certification at all levels to proprietary classes designed for all levels of wine lovers.
"We can't wait to expand our audience in Morris County and become a part of the fabric that makes Morristown and the surrounding area so special," says Sevrens.
