Montclair School Board Appoints Kimberly Robinson Santos As Member

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Montclair Board of Education has appointed a temporary replacement for Crystal Hopkins, who resigned from her seat on the board earlier this year.

The board voted in favor of appointing Kimberly Robinson Santos, a Montclair native and longtime educator in Essex County, as Hopkins’ replacement at their meeting last week.

The seat will be on the ballot for the Nov. 5 general election; Santos’ term will run until the Montclair school board’s annual organization meeting in January 2025.
