Montclair State Speaker Series Will Explore 2020 Election
Montclair State University will host a series of free events. Speakers include George Norcross, Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill and others.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A roster of speakers including George Norcross, Rep. Mikie Sherrill, a senior strategist for Sen. Cory Booker and the New Jersey state director of March for Our Lives will be appearing at a series of upcoming public forums at Montclair State University.
According to MSU, the free events are intended to give people an informative and thought-provoking glimpse into the 2020 presidential election. The forums take place on Tuesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. at Montclair State University School of Communications and Media presentation hall. (Learn more here)
The Political Science and Law Salon Series is hosted by Montclair State University professor Brigid Callahan Harrison. The events are co-sponsored by Montclair State University's Department of Political Science and Law, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Center for Student Involvement, the Political Science Club, College Republicans, and College Democrats at Montclair State University, as well as InsiderNJ.

- Oct. 29 - Patrick Murray, director of the Monmouth University Polling Institute, a leading center for the study of public opinion on critical national and state issues
- Nov. 12 - Elena Perez, state director of March for Our Lives New Jersey and a Montclair State student
- Nov. 19 - George Norcross, executive chairman of Conner Strong & Buckelew and chairman, Cooper University Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper
- Nov. 26 - Modia Butler, senior strategist for Cory Booker for President
- Dec. 17 - U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill (District 11)
