MONTCLAIR, NJ — “It’s what you do in the dark – the hard, long hours – that puts you in the light.” These words from Kevin Bradley, executive vice president and CFO of U.S. Steel, served as a poignant but hard-nosed reminder for a class of new graduates at Montclair State University last week.

On May 24, Bradley was one of many who congratulated MSU’s newest alumni at an undergraduate commencement ceremony at the Prudential Center in Newark.

Bradley, a MSU alum (class of 1984) and West Orange native, received an honorary doctor of letters degree on Friday.
