Montclair Water Main Breaks; Tuesday Traffic Advisory Issued

A water main break in Montclair shut down Upper Mountain Avenue between Laurel Place and Mount Hebron Road on Tuesday morning.

Township officials announced the main break at 7:33 a.m.

The Montclair Police Department Traffic Bureau also issued the following advisory on Tuesday:

“Claremont Avenue between Valley Road and Park Street continues to be closed today through 4 p.m. Thursday, February 25 while utility crews perform repair work for Verizon... Local traffic will be permitted access via Vincent Place.”
