Montclair Woman Punches Cop: Authorities
The Montclair woman allegedly punched an officer in the face and tore at their uniform, police say.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police arrested a local woman earlier this month after she allegedly punched an officer in the face during a disorderly person incident on Pine Street, authorities say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers received a report of a disturbance on Pine Street on April 14. On arrival, officers attempted to arrest Fatimah Leftwich, 36, of Montclair for “disorderly conduct.”
At that time, Leftwich allegedly punched an officer in the face and tore at their uniform, police said.

Authorities charged Leftwich with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
Police also arrested another person on the scene, Lander Ceaser, 35, of Montclair, and charged him with disorderly conduct.
