Montclairites Report 4 Home Burglaries in 4 Days: Police

Montclair residents reported four home burglaries in the township over a four-day period, police said.

Montclair, NJ – Montclair residents reported four home burglaries in the township over a four-day period earlier this month, police said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the following incidents were reported:

  • 6-8-2016 (Elm Street) - Burglary to an unlocked residence. A bicycle was taken in this incident. 
  • 6-10-2016 (Upper Mountain Avenue) - Burglary to an unlocked residence. A wireless Bluetooth headset was taken. 
  • 6-10-2016 (Bloomfield Avenue) - Burglary to an apartment. Access was gained by pushing in a window air conditioner. Hair care items were taken in this incident. 
  • 6-11-2016 (Alexander Avenue) - Burglary to a residential garage. A portable generator and various hand tools were taken.
