Motorist Grabs $150 From Montclair Gas Attendant And Drives Away: Police
A man allegedly robbed an attendant at the Exxon gas station on Bloomfield Avenue last week, Montclair police say.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A man allegedly robbed an attendant at the Exxon gas station on Bloomfield Avenue last week, Montclair police stated.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the incident took place on Aug. 20 when a male pulled up to the gas attendant in a smaller-model, blue/green van and asked him to change a large bill. When the attendant took money out his pocket, the suspect allegedly grabbed about $150 of cash and drove away, police said.
The attendant was grazed by the side of the suspect vehicle as it fled, causing him to fall and sustain an abrasion to the elbow, police said.
