Neo-Soul Singer, Maxwell, To Play Montclair's Wellmont Theater

Legendary soul singer, Maxwell, will be performing at Montclair’s historic Wellmont Theater on Wednesday, November 28.

The multi-Grammy-winning singer-songwriter has been credited to shaping the 1990s' "neo-soul" movement, alongside musicians like D'Angelo and Erykah Badu. After his 1996 debut with hit album "Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite," the legendary soul singer has been a household name for more than 20 years.

Today, Maxwell has released five studio albums to rave reviews from fans and critics alike. His 2018 tour, dubbed "50 Intimate Nights," is a special one, combining new material alongside many critically acclaimed hits.
