MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Montclair Town Council approved another traffic change for a busy intersection at their meeting on Wednesday.

The council unanimously voted to pass Ordinance O-23-13 on second reading (watch the video below). It designates Franklin Avenue and Virginia Avenue as a “multi-way stop intersection.”

The new designation for Franklin Avenue and Virginia Avenue isn’t the only recent traffic change the council has given a green light in the recent past.

In late March, the council approved an ordinance that paved the way to install a stop sign for traffic traveling westbound on Inwood Avenue at the intersection of Inwood Avenue and Fernwood Avenue. Read More: New Stop Sign Approved For Busy Montclair Intersection

In February, the town council approved a four-way stop at Claremont Avenue and Forest Street.
