Old School Jersey Jam To Play Wellmont Theater in Montclair

Montclair, NJ - The Latin freestyle trio, TKA, will be performing alongside hip-hop group, Sugarhill Gang, at the Old School Jersey Freestyle Jam at the Wellmont Theater on Saturday, November 24.

The concert will be one of the go-to events of the 2018 Thanksgiving weekend, featuring sets from Coro, Johnny O, Noel, Shannon, Planet Patrol and so many more. These artists pioneered the creation of freestyle music, a form of electronic dance music, and hip hop in the 1980s. This paved the way for the emergence of today's rappers and electronic musicians.
