RecRoom Coworking Space to Open in Montclair This October

A fresh kind of coworking and community space is coming to Montclair. Opening this October inside the iconic Lackawanna Station, RecRoom is designed for remote workers, entrepreneurs, creatives, and anyone craving more from where they work.

With 9,000 square feet of skylight-filled space, RecRoom will offer flexible seating, private offices, meeting rooms, phone booths, a wellness room, and quiet zones - plus fast WiFi, free coffee, and thoughtfully curated programming.

RecRoom will be part of the bold reimagining of Lackawanna Station, a unique Montclair property being transformed by BDP Holdings LLC. Known for revitalizing complex, underutilized spaces, BDP is turning the former train station into a lively destination for art, music, food, shopping, and entrepreneurship while it continues to pursue redevelopment approvals for an exciting mixed-use, community oriented development incorporating many of the tenants of the current activation.

Visitors are now able to shop at Montclair Flea, Boozie’s Wine Shoppe, and the Little Shops; grab a bite at Little Bear Poke and Burgers, Donuts, Potatoes; enjoy drinks at Boozie’s Bar; and experience world-class murals and rotating art exhibitions. They’ll soon be able to patronize Iron Bound Farm Market, Reasonable Man Records, The Little Shops and more while co-working, meeting, and renting space at RecRoom.

RecRoom will also be available for private event rentals and include a wellness room for meditation or lactation, along with a robust calendar of social and professional events to bring its members together.
