Montclair Kimberley Academy's girls swimming team receives strong performances from veteran seniors Phoebe Hirsh and Alexa Kahn who boost the talent and depth in the freestyle events and in relays.
In a recent (Jan. 9) 112-57 victory vs. West Essex, Hirsh finished first in the 500-yard freestyle (6:43.01) and was a member of the victorious 200-free relay unit while also placing second behind teammate Ella Nigito in the 200-Individual Medley (2:38.88 to Nigito's 2:36. 39)
Kahn was a member of the victorious 400-free relay for the Cougars (4:52.74).
