Snow Day For Montclair Schools; COVID Testing Still Planned
All Montclair public schools will be closed Friday. COVID testing at the George Inness Annex Atrium will still take place, officials said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ -- The Montclair Public School District will be closed Friday, Jan. 7 due to a forecasted snowstorm. But COVID-19 testing at the George Inness Annex Atrium will still take place, officials said.

Administrators posted the following message to the district website:

"Due to the forecasted storm, all Montclair Public Schools and offices are closed Friday, January 7. All before-school, after-school, and school-based evening activities are also cancelled. However, please note we are still holding COVID testing at the George Inness Annex Atrium from 4 to 6 p.m. Please bring your insurance card and ID. Testing will also be held on the next two Fridays in January, Jan. 14, and Jan. 21, same place and time."
