Stephen Colbert, Samantha Bee Team Up For Montclair Film Fest Event

The Daily Show alums will wax poetic on their comic influences and politics in support of the Montclair Film Festival.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Daily show alums Stephen Colbert and Samantha Bee will team up for a fundraising event to benefit the Montclair Film Festival (MFF) on Saturday, Dec. 2 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.

According to the MFF, the event will include “a hilarious, on-stage exchange on everything from their comic influences to politics, entertainment, and beyond.”

Tickets for the event begin at $89.50 and will go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. to Montclair Film members. American Express members will receive pre-sale access on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m., with public ticket sales beginning on Friday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. Public tickets will be available by telephone at 1-888-GO-NJPAC (1-888-466-5722), at the NJPAC Box Office at One Center Street in downtown Newark, and online at www.njpac.org and ticketmaster.com.

All proceeds from the evening will benefit Montclair Film, a nonprofit arts organization that hosts the annual Montclair Film Festival.

Colbert – who has a history of supporting the festival and Montclair arts scene – has previously hosted MFF fundraising events with J.J. Abrams, John Oliver and Jimmy Fallon.
