Sweetgreen Arrives In Montclair; New Restaurant Opens

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Salad restaurant chain Sweetgreen has arrived in Montclair.

On Tuesday, Sweetgreen opened its fourth New Jersey location at 460 Bloomfield Avenue. The 3,250 square-foot location in Montclair is able to accommodate 30 diners inside, with banquette and window bar seating. Store hours are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

According to a news release from the company:

“For every meal sold on opening day, sweetgreen will donate a meal to Toni's Kitchen for people experiencing food insecurity in Montclair. To celebrate the grand opening of sweetgreen’s newest location, guests can enjoy a floral bar by Bloombox, a photobooth, a coffee cart with Boho coffee and sweets by Ester’s Treats. sweetgreen has also commissioned New York-based abstract artist Claire Buckley for a series of holographic paintings representing the seasons for the restaurant.”

Other locations in New Jersey include stores in Jersey City, Shrewsbury and Hackensack.
