Upper Montclair's LaLonde Leads MKA Golf

Upper Montclair resident Griffin LaLonde recently completed a splendid high school golf career at Montclair Kimberley Academy serving as one of the team's senior co-captains while leading the Cougars to a splendid 15-3 record including a perfect 12-0 mark in winning the Super Essex Conference-Liberty Division championship.

LaLonde, a past Non-Public, North B state sectional champion, finished tied for 17th in what are now a combined Non-Public A and B state sectional tournament with a round of 76.

He helped lead the Cougars to a low score of all the SEC-Liberty Division teams (seventh overall) in the 2025 Essex County Tournament.
