Victim Struck, iPhone Stolen During Robbery In Montclair: Police

A pair of men hit a victim on the head and stole his iPhone during a robbery on Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A pair of men hit a victim on the head and stole his iPhone during a robbery on Bloomfield Avenue earlier this month, Montclair police said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the victim told officers that two men assaulted him around 9:25 p.m. on April 7.

The victim said one of the men struck him in the head and stole his phone. The suspects then fled south on Maple Avenue, authorities said.

The victim said his assailants were about 20-years-old and wearing white t-shirts. One may have had short braids, authorities stated.
