Walnut Street Fair Will Return To Montclair For 2023

The street fair will return to Montclair on May 7. Expect to see more than 150 vendors, entertainment, a beer garden and food trucks.

As we trade in our winter coats to savor the springtime sunshine, Walnut Street will come alive this May with the best of local businesses, shopping, food, and fun for everyone. The beloved Walnut Street Fair is back and promises to be the biggest and most exciting yet.

The 2023 Walnut Street Fair will take place on Sunday, May 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can expect to see more than 150 vendors at this year’s event including artists, crafters, food sellers, local nonprofits, food trucks, and more.

Aside from shopping and sampling some tasty festival food, the street fair will feature a beer garden, a 50/50 raffle, and various forms of entertainment such as live music, yoga classes, and the world’s only full-scale replica truck of Optimus Prime.

The Kids Zone at Erie Park is sure to be a hit, featuring our first responders, the Montclair Art Museum Art Truck, the Montclair Public Library Bookmobile, sports inflatables, a petting zoo, and many more free activities.

The fair is produced by the Junior League of Montclair-Newark (JLMN), an organization of women that has focused on building stronger communities through programming, partnerships, and advocacy for over 100 years. The nonprofit works to improve the lives of children in foster care in Essex County communities.
