Weekend Weather Update: High Chance of Rain, Slick Roads Possible

The National Weather Service has issued a ”Hazardous Weather Outlook” for much of New Jersey, saying a “drenching” rain will soak the state and make roads slick all day Saturday. [See related story]

Friday Night: A chance of rain, mainly after 3am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 34. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday: Rain. High near 49. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Saturday Night: A chance of rain, mainly before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. West wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 48. Northwest wind 7 to 13 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31.
