Dr. Adolf Gaertner, Rotarian from Germany, Speaker at Montville Rotary Meeting

A special thank you to Dr. Adolf Gaertner from the Montville Rotary Club.

At it's September 26 breakfast meeting, the Montville Rotary, welcomed Dr. Adolf  Gaertner as guest speaker. Dr. Gaertner was accompanied by his son-in-law Carlos Restrepo, a resident of Montville.

Dr. Gaertner is from the Muelheim an Ruhr - Schloss Broich Rotary Club in Germany and Carlos is from the Wayne, NJ Rotary Club.

Dr. Gaertner presented the history of the formation of Germany, the rise of it's labor movement and an overview of current employer -employee benefits structure and how it's financed.

The presentation was very informative and "eye opening" for members and we learned a lot.
