Are You an Anxious Patient? Local Hypnotist and Author Kathleen Lindert to Present Class at the Institute for Continuing Education

Adult class to be held in Fairfield on Sunday, November 16.

The Institute for Continuing Education (ICE) in Fairfield is pleased to announce that Kathleen Lindert, local hypnocounselor and author of several self-help books, will be presenting a special course on Sunday, November 16, from 9:00 am-3:30 pm, called Hypnosis to Calm the Anxious Patient. The course, which will teach students various hypnosis techniques, is intended to help health care workers and patients alike to learn to relax and stay calm when anxious about a procedure, or to learn to manage or reduce pain. Open to the public, the course is also approved for six continuing education units (CEU’s) for chiropractors, massage therapists and athletic trainers. For athletic trainers, the techniques would work well for injured athletes too. The course is also approved for six continuing ed credits for dental professionals through ICE’s affiliate, Dental Studies Institute (located at the same facility).

Kathleen Lindert, certified hynocounselor and owner of Advanced Hypnosis Counseling in Caldwell, NJ, is also the author of the “How to Fix Yourself for Good” self-help book series, which offer hypnosis-based suggestions for learning how to change one’s perceptions about things, ways to substitute good behaviors for bad and techniques for staying focused on one’s goals.

The class will be held Sunday, November 16 at The Institute for Continuing Education, 7 Spielman Road, Fairfield, NJ, from 9:00-3:30. The cost is $145; complimentary lunch will be provided.
