CASA Needs Volunteers!

Information Sessions are available to those looking to volunteer.

The mission of Court Appointed Special Advocates of Morris and Sussex Counties, Inc. is to speak up for the best interest of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect and abandonment. CASA volunteers are highly dedicated individuals who provide children with a voice in court and are the eyes and ears of the Family Court Judge, serving as neutral parties on each case.

CASA volunteers come from all walks of life, with a variety of professional, educational and ethnic backgrounds. As CASA volunteer Mary Eldridge shared, “Every child deserves to be known, heard and valued. As a CASA volunteer, I am a positive presence that is committed to a child’s current and future well being.”

CASA volunteers are appointed to represent the child’s best interests. Last year our organization’s CASA volunteers served over 370 children. We are looking for people who want to be a voice for children in the foster care system. As a volunteer, you will be thoroughly trained and well supported by professional staff to help you through each case.
