Conference & Expo for parents, students, & professionals on Life After High School - Transition Begins by Age 14
Find out what you need to know about transition years and the types of options and services available after high school.

The Learning Disabilities Association of New Jersey (LDANJ) invites parents, students and professionals to attend the conference, “Life After High School-Transition Begins by Age 14” at the NJHA Conference & Event Center, 760 Alexander Road, Princeton on Saturday, May 13, 2017. The conference will have a variety of workshops related to preparing students with learning disabilities, attention issues, and/or related disorders for the transition to life after high school. Topics will include the difference between high school and college/work, the gap year, coaching, how to find the right college, transition IEPs, learning the soft skills, resilience, and more.

LeDerick Horne, co-author of Empowering Students with Hidden Disabilites-A Path to Pride and Success, will present the keynote. In addition to 16 workshops and the keynote, there will be a Vendor Expo to provide additional information and resources.
