Conference on Learning Disabilities & Attention Issues for Parents, Professionals, Students, & Community Members
Come to this informative conference sponsored by the Learning Disabilities Association of NJ, a volunteer/nonprofit organization.
Parents, individuals with LD, professionals, students, and community members interested in knowing more about learning disabilities and attention issues are invited to the annual Learning Disabilities Association of New Jersey (LDANJ) State Conference – Navigate the Maze. The keynote will be Busting the Myths and Stigmas Around Learning and Attention Issues: A Way Forward by Amanda Morin, Understood.org, Staff Expert & Writer. The lunch topic will be Improving Achievement for ALL Students by the NJ Department of Education. Session topics include testing for learning disabilities, a dyslexia simulation, accommodations for students, success with technology, tools you can use, transition to college and work, and much more. In addition to breakfast and lunch, visit the 30+ exhibitors at the Vendor, School & Post-Secondary Resource Expo. The location is Rutgers University-Student Center on Livingston Campus, 84 Joyce Kilmer Avenue, Piscataway, NJ 08854. Registration by October 10th is $25 for LDA members and full time students, $50 for non-members, and $75 for both membership/registration.
