Emily Michalak Shines at 'X Factor' Boot Camp

Emily Michalak, a 12-year-old Montville Township resident, on Fox's talent search show "The X Factor" last week just long enough to say all four judges gave her the thumbs up after hearing her audition.

On Wednesday, viewers heard her sing for the first time—and they were impressed.

She and other contestants who advanced to pop star boot camp on a quest for the $5 million top prize sang Snow Patrol's "Run," and blogger Joey Guerra said Michalak "easily steals the shine."
