The Montville Democratic Club will be sponsoring a free screening of the documentary, "Gasland". This Academy Award nominated film describes the process of hydraulic fracturing ("fracking"), used to extract natural gas, and the impact on the communities that have allowed it. Currently, Gov. Christie supports fracking in NJ. Unfortunately, during the process, toxins, known carcinogens and heavy metals can enter our ground water. This event is of particular interest to nature lovers, outdoorsmen and people who just want to have clean, safe water.
