Man Who Killed Ex-Wife With 84 Stab Wounds Gets 50-Year Prison Sentence
Anthony Novellino will be eligible for parole at age 109.

The Denville man who killed his wife by stabbing her 84 times, then placing a pig’s mask on her face before fleeing the state, has been sentenced to 50 years in prison, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp announced Friday.
Anthony Novellino, 67, was convicted in July of the June 2010 murder of Judith Novellino in the couple’s home. The two had recently divorced when Judith Novellino had come to the house to retrieve some belongings. The ex-husband then stabbed the woman 84 times in the bathroom of the home.
After the brutal killing, Anthony Novellino then placed a pig mask on his dead ex-wife’s face, washed off the knife used for the murder and hit it underneath the staircase leading to the lower level of the home.
