Montville Recreation Department

The Montville Recreation Department will be sponsoring an “IN-TOWN” BASKETBALL program for the Winter 2016-2017 Season for Grades 3rd to 8th. Players will be placed on teams according to grade and gender. Note: Bronco Traveling Team players are ineligible.

Players will be rated and placed on teams to create team balance. Adjustable baskets (8’ to 9.5’) will be used at the elementary schools’ gyms. A 10’ height basket is used at the Lazar & HS gyms.

Practices and games will take place at the various elementary schools for the Grades 3-5 and 6th Grade Girls and the High School and/or Lazar Middle School gyms for 6th Grade Boys and Grades 7-8.

Practices start the end of November. Games start in January and run through Mid-March. Weeknight gym use will be from 6:30pm to 7:45pm (lower grades) and 8:00pm to 9:30pm (older grades). Weekend gym time for lower grades will take place on Saturdays between 8:00am and 1:00pm. Weekend gym time for the older grades will take place Saturdays or Sundays between 8:00am and 5:00pm.

The cost is $110.00 per person (additional siblings are $100.00 each). Basketball jerseys will be supplied for all participants!

LATE FEE as of OCTOBER 17th. The registration fee will be $130.00 per child with NO GUARANTEE of team placement.
