Forensics Intro Competitive Speech and Debate Camps - Students entering Grades 6th-9th

The Montville Recreation Department will be sponsoring FORENSICS INTRO Competitive Speech and Debate CAMPS for students entering Grades 6th-9th in September 2015.

This program will focus on the techniques of effective public speaking in the areas of oral interpretation, oratorical, interpretation, extemporaneous and impromptu speaking, as well as public forum debate.

Classes will take place at the Montville Twp. High School Classroom 301 located at 100 Horseneck Road in Montville.

There is a choice of 2 camps. Camps takes place on

Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: June 20, July 1, 2, 7, 8 & 9 and/or August 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 & 20 for 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Instruction is provided by Mrs. Mary Gormley, Montville Twp. High School’s Forensics Coach for 27 years, coaching students in local, state and national competition in the areas of Speech and Debate. Students from the award winning team will be acting as seminar interns.

The fee is $80.00 per person per session.
