Montville Recreation Department Sporty Squirts

The Montville Recreation Department will be sponsoring SPORTY SQUIRTS classes which are an ideal introduction to sports for ages 3-5.

The US Sports Institute Sporty Squirts program introduces children aged 3 to 5 to a variety of sports such as Soccer, T-ball, Basketball, Lacrosse and Hockey, all taking place in a safe structured environment. Activities are designed to evoke a child’s imagination in which they can Find Nemo, send Shrek into a spin or capture Jellyfish with Sponge Bob Square Pants. All activities promote hand-eye coordination, movement and balance and most importantly Fun, Fun, Fun. The program curriculum will cover a different sport each week and include fun movement and coordination activities. (NOTE: Parents are encouraged to stay with their child during the course of the program.)

Children should wear comfortable clothing. Please have your child bring a WATER BOTTLE! Classes take place at the Montville Community Park Turf Fields in Montville on Tuesdays OR Camp Dawson Turf Fields in Towaco on Sundays. Sundays classes take place on April 12, 19, 26, May 3, 10, 17, 31 & June 7 (No: 5/24) from 2:15pm OR 3:15pm. Tuesday classes take place on April 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12, 19, 26 & June 2 from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.

* In case of inclement weather a Make-up class will be added on at the end of the session!!!

Instruction is provided by USSI Coaches.

The cost is $140.00 per person for the 8 (eight) week program.
