Montville School of Rock to Perform at Relay for Life

Benefit concert begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Montville School of Rock [MSOR] will stage a benefit concert at Montville’s Relay for Life event. The performance will be held on the Montville Township High School [MTHS] track during the Relay for Life fundraiser, Saturday, June 7, 2014. The show will begin at 7PM.

MSOR is a popular extra-curricular band of first-rate rock-n-roll musicians. The high-energy performers cover the music of bands like Pink Floyd, Paramore, Deep Purple, Queen, David Bowie, The Black Keys, Steely Dan, Evanescence and more.

The June 7 Relay for Life benefit will feature twenty-five Montville Township Public School students, in grades nine through twelve, as well as MTHS alumni who are returning for this special benefit concert.

Montville’s Relay for Life event will be a full day of music, food and fun. It will be held from Noon to Midnight on June 7. MSOR will perform at 7PM. Admission to Relay for Life is only $10 and includes the MSOR concert. Relay for Life participants can also collect sponsorships and walk in the relay. Those who do, can attend the concert for free, as part of participation. MTHS is located at 100 Horseneck Road in Montville.
