Artist to Create Still-Life in Library Demo
The Pastel Society of New Jersey is holding an art demonstration on Sunday afternoon.

The Pastel Society of New Jersey is holding a general meeting and an art demonstration from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the , according to a news release from the group.
The meeting is scheduled to start with the annual election of the society board and continue with a pastel demonstration by artist Salomon Kadoche, whose award-winning work has been included in museum shows and international competitions. For the dmeonstration, Kadoche will create a still-life piece.
Kadoche, born in Casablanca, Morocco, has worked to perfect his "highly emotional work," studying at Hunter College, Art Students League and the School of Visual Arts in New York, the news release said.
"His still-lifes are breathtakingly rendered," according to the society. "His landscapes explore undiscovered places, and his portraits almost talk to you."
