The Kootz performed Thursday evening at the Community Park Amphitheater as part of Summer Concerts in the Park, Montville's free summer concert series.

The band—originally OMJ, for Old Man Jam—says its name and banner ("Rock 'n' Roll with Fiber") refers to the fact that most members are over the age of 50.

Next week will feature the eighth and final summer concert: the band Full Circle, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Community Park Amphitheater.
