Of producing a Broadway-style musical with students, Brightest Star Director Beth Vecchio has said, “Producing a Broadway-style musical theatre show may be the most perfect example of ‘project learning’…. Learning in literacy occurs through the written word and the study of the elements of the play. Learning in math occurs through blocking, staging, choreography, set design, and business logistics. Learning in the arts is intensive, intentional and interesting, spanning singing, acting and dancing. In our production, the cast is directly involved in all aspects of the production so it is quite hands-on.”

The performance begins promptly at 7:00 PM at The Bickford Theatre, located at The Morris Museum, 6 Normandy Heights Road, Morristown, NJ. Ticket prices are $15 and may be purchased at the door.
