Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen helped display Amanda Zizack’s painting at the Congressional Art Show. The event, part of the 2014 Congressional Arts Competition, was sponsored by the US House of Representatives, and was held at The Morris Museum on Monday, May 5, 2014.
The competition is held nationally, Congressional district by Congressional district. Since its inception in 1982, more than 650,000 high school artists have participated.
“We are all very proud of her accomplishments,” said Edward Fleischman, Supervisor of the Arts for Montville Township Public Schools.

Zizack, a senior at Montville Township High School, entered her painting in the competition by submitting her entry to the Congressman’s office. She is an AP Art student of Joanne Zoppo’s, as well as Visual Arts IV student in Eileen Racioppi's class.
