Authorities say driver was speeding on Ironia Road July 26 when incident occurred.

The teen driving a car that crashed into a tree killing two Randolph High School students that were passengers in July has been charged with two counts of death by auto and one count of assault by auto, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp announced.
The teen, a juvenile who’s name is being withheld by authorities, was driving his vehicle on Ironia Road at a high rate of speed when he could not negotiate a curve in the road, veering off the street and into a tree. The two backseat passengers, Calvin Verduga and Jack Timmerman, both 17, were killed as a result.
