Township High School Hall of Fame Candidates Announced

Includes six former students, one retired teacher and one sports team.

The Montville Township High School hall of fame committee has announced eight candidates for induction into 2010 MTHS Hall of Fame.  The list of potential inductees includes six graduates of the high school, as well as one retired high school staff member and one champion athletic team.

The candidates will be honored at an induction dinner at the Lake Valhalla Club on October 15. Also included in the ceremonies will be a tribute in memoriam of Fred Eckhardt and John Petrozzino, two long-time members of the Hall of Fame.

  • Karen Carnegie, class of '90, television art illustrator
  • Lisa Epstein, class of '84, food services entrepreneur
  • John Fea, class of '84. History professor at Messiah College
  • Samir Shah, class of '91, diagnostic radiologist
  • Frank Cooney, member of the Montville Police department
  • Patricia O'Dowd Donohue, Esq., Deputy Attorney General, member of NJ / NY Bar Association
  • Richard Dewey Slayton, retired teacher, vice-principal, director of guidance
  • 1983 Girls Filed Hockey team, Group 3 State Champions
