Cedar Hill Students Prepare for TREP$ Market

Students to share business plans, original products.

Fourth and fifth grade students began preparing business plans Friday for the school's annual TREP$ Marketplace, where the students will sell original products they developed on April 21.

TREP$ is a program that began when two certified West Milford teachers' sons had an idea to sell hand-stamped wrapping paper at a school event and learned lessons about business through the process. The TREP$ program has been introduced to schools statewide, with students working for weeks on their individual plans and then presenting the plans and their products during the marketplace event.

The Cedar Hill students will work on their projects for six weeks during after school workshops, like Friday's, receiving guidance on their projects.
