Woodmont Elementary Debuts Video For Justin Timberlake's 'Can't Stop the Feeling'
Tradition of VIDEO. Woodmont adds 2016 Summer fun to "Paws the Wildcat" YouTube site. Superintendent, Montville Police make cameos.
Today at 1:10 PM, Eastern Standard Time, the Woodmont Elementary School, in Pine Brook, New Jersey, released its newest "Salute to Summer" video, choreographed to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling." At the time of its release, Woodmont was the only NJ school to dance a summer tribute to the chart topping tune.
Woodmont is one of seven Montville Township Public Schools and one of only two with an active YouTube channel. The channel, named “Paws the Wildcat”, features the school’s Paws. Starting with Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” in 2014, Woodmont has marked every special occasion, award, and news item with a self-produced and directed Woodmont video. Last summer’s video featured Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance."
Other videos on their channel include the school’s popular multicultural events, on-line news magazine for the school’s 50th Anniversary and this spring’s National Schools of Character Awards Assembly. Only 67 schools in the nation, out of more than 98,000, received the National School of Character Award from Character.org.
