6 Candidates To Run For 3 Open Moorestown Council Seats
None of the three incumbents on Moorestown Council opted to run for re-election in the fall.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — There will be three new members of Moorestown Council come January, and six people have lined up for a shot at those seats in November’s elections.
Democratic incumbent Lisa Petriello and Republican incumbents Victoria Napolitano and Mike Locatell all previously announced they would not seek re-election.
The Moorestown Democrats already announced their endorsement of Dave Zipin, Sue Mammarella and Jake VanDyken for the three open, four-year seats. All three candidates filed their petitions by Monday’s deadline, according to the township clerk’s office.

On the Republican side, Barbara Omert, Doug Maute and Vick Bobadilla all filed to run by Monday’s deadline. Neither party’s primary will be contested. Election Day is Nov. 3.
