Officers immediately administered CPR and used an Automated External Defibrillator to revive her. She regained consciousness within minutes. She was then taken to a nearby hospital, and was reportedly in stable condition.

The unidentified woman had been staying with family members while she and her husband were trying to work through marital difficulties, police said.

Evidence at the scene indicated she stopped breathing as a result of a physical assault.

Teti was identified as the suspect following a joint investigation by Evesham Police and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office. He was arrested and charged by Barrington Police at his home in Barrington shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday.

He remained in the Burlington County Jail in default of $350,000 bail as of Thursday morning.

Should he make bail, he has been told to stay away from his wife and the Concord Road home, the Courier Post reports. The incident has been ruled an act of domestic violence.
