Recipients of the award do not necessarily employ Guardsmen or Reservists, but have demonstrated outstanding support, commitment, and extreme patriotism to the United States military.

The jobless rate amongst returning National Guard and Reserve units as well as members of the Armed Forces who are leaving full-time military service is causing great concern amonsgt lawmakers, military leadership and veterans advocate groups.

The launch of the Judge Group's newest division, VIP Careers (Veterans in Professional Careers) paves the way for the company to reduce the unemployment rate of US military veterans, reserve component members, wounded warriors and military spouses by helping them find rewarding careers in the civilian workforce.

"The idea behind creating this new division is to leverage our existing core competencies in consulting, staffing and training," Judge said. "Then apply this success to a deserving population while also bringing outstanding talent to our clients."

VIP Careers Director, Mike Ferraro, who joins Judge after a distinguished 32 year U.S. Air Force career in both active duty and the reserves, will be leading the "boots to boardroom" efforts by forging new public and private relationships, and partnering with government, not-for-profits, and corporate entities to reach the common goal of reducing the unemployment rate of our nation's heroes.

The Judge Group, established by Marty Judge Jr. in 1970, is a global leader in professional services that provides technology consulting, staffing solutions, corporate training and human capital management through a network of locations across the United States, Canada and Asia.  They were recently ranked the 17th Largest Information Technology Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysis.
