SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — The New Jersey wrestling community is mourning the loss of a 16-year-old after he was killed in a crash with a United Parcel Service (UPS) delivery truck on Tuesday while riding an electronic dirt bike.
Chase Sudano, a member of the St. Augustine Prep School Wrestling team, was identified by both his coach and family as the boy who died in the collision.

"Chase wrestled a lot, so just about everyone has had a connection to him in one way or another," Washington Township Junior Wrestling said on Facebook. "Many people have experienced his talent and his laid-back personality.
It was this easy-going, enjoyable-to-be-around energy that others felt around Sudano that was also echoed in a tribute alongside a fundraiser set up to support his family.
"Chase was laid back, funny, and genuinely well-liked by everyone who knew him," the fundraiser page read. "He had a way of making people laugh and bringing a smile to those around him."
Sudano was just days away from his 17th birthday on June 24.
UPS also shared a statement following Tuesday's deadly crash.
"We are heartbroken by the tragic accident in Southampton Township, NJ. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones. We are fully cooperating with authorities to understand what happened," the business said, in part.
No other injuries were reported. The cause of Sudano's death is yet to be released.
