Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting of Burlington County Man Found Dead in His Car: Police
Quinnizel J. Clark was charged with murder and possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose in the Jan. 3 death of James Dewyer.

A Belleville man has been charged with fatally shooting a man earlier this year in Mansfield Township, Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi and Mansfield Township Police Chief Ronald Mulhall announced on Monday.
Quinnizel J. Clark, 34, was charged with one count of murder and one count of possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose in the Jan. 3 death of 68-year-old James Dewyer.
Officers found Dewyer dead inside of his silver Dodge Avenger from an apparent shooting while checking on a parked car in Monica Court at around 4:15 p.m. that day.

An autopsy revealed the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds, and the manner of death to be homicide, police said.
Police believe that Clark and Dewyer, who were acquaintances, had spent time together earlier in the day.

Police allege Clark drove Dewyer’s car to the location where it was discovered and shot him multiple times before leaving on foot.
The Burlington County Sheriff’s Department Fugitive Unit arrested Clark in Maple Shade on Friday, July 8.
He is presently in Burlington County Jail on $500,000 full bail.
