Burlington County Playground Temporarily Closing, Area To Be Avoided

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — A new inclusive, sensory-friendly upgrade is coming to John F. Kennedy Park in Burlington City.
Construction will begin on Thursday to create a new space under "Jake's Law," filled with adaptive equipment to accommodate children of different needs.
Children and pets should be kept away from the area during the project, which is anticipated to last around 60 days.

"Jake's Law" encourages municipalities to build playgrounds that are more accessible to those with disabilities.
Counties can apply for grants up to 75 percent of the project cost to develop and improve their parks.
