Charges Dismissed Against Man in 2011 Attempted Luring in Moorestown

A West Virginia man was accused of the attempted luring of a 15-year-old girl. All charges have been dismissed.

Moorestown, NJ -- Charges have been dismissed against a West Virginia man who was accused of luring a 15-year-old girl who went missing from Moorestown in 2011.

Adam Doughtry was accused of engaging in an online relationship with the girl, and driving from West Virginia to Moorestown to meet her.

He was charged with various counts of endangering the welfare of a child, attempted luring, and sexual assault of a minor between 13 and 16 years old when he was at least four years older than the victim. He was 24 when he was charged.

All charges were dismissed in October, according to court documents.
