Couple Brought Loaded Gun To Burlington County Movie Theater: PD

EVESHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ — A couple was arrested after they were found with a loaded handgun, two stun guns and pepper spray at a movie theater in Burlington County, police said.

An alert employee at the AMC theater on Route 73 in Marlton called police just before 10:30 p.m. Monday night after he saw the couple acting suspiciously and what appeared to be a gun in the waistband of the man’s pants, Evesham Township police said.

When officers arrived, they discovered that the man, identified as 23-year-old Dennis Alicea of Camden, had a loaded .40 caliber handgun in his waistband, police said. Officers then searched the couple’s car, where they said they found two stun guns and pepper spray.

Alicea was charged with third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail.

Suehaly Otero, 30 of Maple Shade, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree possession of stun guns and pepper spray. She was released on her own recognizance.
