Democratic Candidates For Moorestown Council Issue Statement On Affordable Housing
Councilwoman Lisa Petriello and candidates Kati Angelini and Amy Leis issues a statement regarding COAH.

To the Editor:
The number of affordable housing units is mandated by the state of NJ and is not something Town Council candidates can dictate. The township has a legal obligation to implement COAH and candidates cannot pick or chose whether or not they follow the law.
When a more definitive number regarding Moorestown’s COAH obligation is made known, we’ll respond accordingly and in the best interest of Moorestown and its future.
